Ffordes give a warranty with second-hand gear and live up to it (as I found out after having a problem with a 65mm lens). I'm the Dutchman Picturesmith is talking about. Now what I'm asking you is, how did you find your Mamiya 7? What's the best way to find one in Central Europe? Any website, like some used film camera reseller or anything? There were some good deal in the US too but most sellers won't send it overseas to Europe. ![]() I found several good deal but these cameras are situated in Japan and I heard that there are some problems with excessive customs taxes and stuff like that. I've been rummaging through eBay lately, only to find that Mamiya in my country (France) are rare and not cheap at all - usually around 1800$. Hey, I'd like to get into medium formats and this is the occasion to get a Mamiya 7. ![]()
